ACADEMIC BACKGROUND:
My name Mohamed Mukram Mohinuddin S/o Mohamed Azam Mohiuddin and Abida
Rukhsana planning to pursue Masters from your esteemed university. I am from a
cosmopolitan city, Hyderabad. I have successfully completed my 10 th schooling in Adarsh
Convent High School, Secunderabad in the year 2007 with 63.10%. I have later joined the
higher secondary school with Civics Economics and Commerce as core subjects & passed with
the 60% in year Mar, 2009 from Gowtam Academy. After the successful completion of 12 th,
joined B.Com Computers at Little Flower Degree College Affiliated to Osmania University,
Hyderabad and completed with 60% in the year April - 2012.

WHY NOT STUDY IN INDIA?

India is also globally recognized for higher studies. But studying in India does not provide any
International Exposure which is really required especially in Hospitality Industry. To do Masters
in India I need to write entrance exams like I-CET, GATE which will take a lot of time to
prepare and it might be years with limited seats. Due to reservation system, availability of seats
is very less for open category students.
Moreover, Indian universities concentrate on theory part rather than practical and projects. If I
study UK I will get International Exposure and practical knowledge which are absent in Indian
Education System. Even though, I have enquired with the universities for Masters Business
Administration with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Osmania University, and
Swami Vivekananda University in my home Country. Unfortunately Indian Universities were
not offering my interested program due to limited seats. Due to which I felt Overseas Education
is required to fulfill my career needs.
WHY NOT OTHER COUNTRIES?

I have done my research on colleges in United Kingdom and in other countries and found that
the cost of pursuing education and living in UK is 40 to 60 per cent less than other countries as
per the present Pond values. Universities in UK offer a wide variety of courses to meet each and
every student's requirement. One of the special advantages for Indian students is the similarity
between Indian and UK education systems. Therefore, it becomes easier for me to get admitted
into the courses directly.
Initially, I considered of America and UK as options for my study. However, the political climate
prevailing and the ambiguity surrounding the student and immigration systems discouraged me
in choosing those. Inflexibility of the courses and restricted visa periods would reduce the time
required to acclimatize with the local market conditions jeopardizing my prospects. My
interactions with the seniors also could not inspire me about the potential of these countries as
destination for masters. Further even though Canada offers decent opportunities for students its
extreme weather conditions discouraged me in choosing it. In comparison to the above-
mentioned aspects UK scores high on the prevailing political, social and economic stability
ensuring a better prospect for its students.

REASONS TO STUDY IN UK:

Most of the United Kingdom has tropical climatic conditions. UK is safe, multicultural and
friendly society with good standard of living. British citizen value the wealth of cultural diversity
and social sophistication that international students bring to the campuses and communities. UK
is the best destination for overseas education across the globe. It provides a unique kind of
education and a learning style that encourages one to be innovative, creative and think
independently. Graduates from UK are very successful in finding jobs and hold prominent
positions worldwide. It mainly encourages the thought process of the student.

I bear a strong intention returning to India as it would be a prideful attribute to my profile having

compete and evolve within my own field of interest; the degree from this University would be a
greater addition to my resume.
