Basic Computer Skills and Literacy

Computer literacy is the understanding and knowledge of computers and their uses. It also the
level of how does a person know about using the computer. Basic computer skills refer to your ability to
perform fundamental tasks on a computer. This can include understanding certain software, applications,
programs, tools, parts of the computer and more. It also explains the two main parts of the computer.
Which is the hardware and the software. The hardware is the physical parts of the computer while software
are the programs and other operating information used by a computer. Such as the windows (OS) and the
Microsoft Word, browsers or the internet browsers. To sum it all up we must make sure that we are safe in
using the internet. Not all we post, share, or click are reliable. Sometimes it is a virus, scams or anything
that will put us in jeopardy. Computer is a powerful tool we must use it in a good way.
