Position: Cloud Support Engineer

Location: Whitefield, Bangalore

Responsibilities
• Provides deployment support and troubleshooting of application Infrastructure.
• Drives Azure cloud Administration activities globally by coordinating with developers, peers,
and other stakeholders in the organization
• Understands server and service configuration best practices and is capable of debugging and
resolving issues
• Has the ability to work independently at a fast pace, as well as in a team environment on a variety
of project settings
• Is well versed in multiple technology areas; continuously learns new skills where required.
• Possesses ability to make intelligent decisions about the best use of technology in medium and
large-scale enterprise environments
• Performs incident RCA and provides corrective action with documentation
• Does proactive monitoring of infrastructure and report anomalies timely
• Strong communication skills as this role requires extensive communication across different
domains

Requirements
• BCA, B. Tech/ B.E. in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 3-6 years of experience overall with minimum 3 years hands-on experience on Azure
• Minimum two years’ experience in Production support
• Ability to work in CST/EST time zone (permanent nightshift and compensated fairly for that)

Mandatory Skills
• Hands-on experience Azure cloud infrastructure administration & support.
• Kubernetes, Docker, PowerShell, Python, Azure ARM templates
• Proactive Infrastructure Monitoring via tools like Splunk, Azure Monitor, ELK etc.
• Build and deployment of Java based applications
• Proactive Application monitoring via Application insights, Splunk, Datadog etc.
• Mongo DB deployment and administration
• Triaging issue with Azure Support and Application Team
• Linux server administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
• Able to have flexible working hours and work with globally distributed teams
• Should be able to work with Linux/Unix environment

Preferred Certifications
• Microsoft Azure Administrator- Exam AZ-103/104
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator

Desirable Skills
• Server Environment: Windows Server 2012 and above, CentOS 7 and above
• Virtualization environment: Basic knowledge of VMware vSphere and vCenter
• Experience in managing full three tier application stacks from the OS up through custom
applications
• Database Administration and troubleshooting databases like MS SQL
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator
