4) As per Ph.D. regulation, the tenure of a research assistantship shall be five (05) years counted from the date of joining. On the recommendation of the
DAC the tenure may be extended for a further period of one year. Fees shall be charged accordingly for any extension beyond the normal tenure of 5
years.
