ABSTRACT
 The facility is proving to be less expensive when
compared to manual ticketing system which was
prevalent earlier. Additional benefit will be in terms of
relieving ASI(Actuator Sensor Interface) personnel,
mostly monument attendants, who will now be able to
concentrate on the security and maintenance of
monuments instead of dispensing and checking tickets.
OBJECTIVE
 As museums and monuments are modernizing to meet the

demands of an increasingly digital public, this means updating

not only exhibitions, displays, and interactivity, but also

internal softwares such as ticketing. The paper stub as a

souvenir is a thing of the past. Organizations are opting out of

paper to pursue a more efficient and environmentally-

conscious method of admissions.

EXISTING SYSTEM

 As of now, online ticketing service has been initiated for all ticketed

monuments. Process is underway to procure hardware to have

computerized facility for the sale of e-tickets at the Point of Sale also. E-

ticketing facility (online and at site) has already been started at several

monuments in Agra and Delhi, that include Taj Mahal, Agra and

Humayun’s Tomb, Safdarjung Tomb, Tughlakabad Fort, Old Fort (Purana

Qila), Red Fort, Kotla Firozshah, Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.

PUBLIC IMPACT
 It is not fair to argue that e-tickets have become ubiquitous, it is evident that the proliferation of e-tickets

represents a change in the way that traditional ticket purchasing occurs . E-tickets appear to offer a

number of advantages to organizations, including lower costs and increased operational efficiency . As

such, it is projected that the use of e-tickets will only continue to increase over time .

 Even though e-ticketing services appear to be the future of operations for many organizations seeking to

streamline operations and improve customer service, research regarding e-ticketing and e-service

indicates that these processes have not been without their challenges .

 E-ticketing services, much like many internet and mobile applications, developed in an ad hoc manner. This

has created a situation in which the function and utilization of e-tickets has not been actively integrated into

the strategy of the organization
