Self – Reflect:

Instructions: Provide answer to the incomplete sentences. After reading and discussing with my
classmates the lesson on fundamentals of curriculum designing,

1. I realized that before a teacher designs a curriculum, they must thin first the available
resources in the environment. If the study is needed and suitable in the present society
because a relevant curriculum should respond to changes brought about by current social
forces, philosophical positions, psychological principles, new knowledge and educational
reforms. I realized also that as a curricular, you need to be flexible and a master of your
subject matter for you to be a competent teacher. It would be great also if you know
multiple designs or if you have plenty of knowledge in crafting a curriculum.

2. I feel that being a curriculum designer or making a curriculum is not that easy, you need to
have multiple assessment or evaluation if the study is fit and necessary to the environment.
I felt also that you have to be more specific in dealing with the proper arrangements of the
desired curriculum.

3. I need to take into consideration the availability of the resources, the materials can be used
in designing a curriculum. I need to be more focus and updated in whatever changes that
may happened in the future so that I could still manage to compete to some other
curriculum designer and most especially I have to learn more because life is a continues
learning process.
