ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
I would like to thank my guide, Guide Name for his very valuable guidance, his support and his
critical suggestions throughout the completion of our project.
It was a privilege to study under his supervision. His vision and broad knowledge played an
important role in the project work. I also like to thank him for pushing me to the stage that I
thought I could never accomplish.
Allow me to express my sincere gratitude to HOD Name, for his tremendous and selfless
support in design of the project and time management skills while fabricating the product.
It is my great honor to have had the opportunity to work with these great minds and their
remarkable characters. Their spirit of enthusiasm and commitment even in the times when we
students found it hard to do is commendable.
Also I appreciate the moral support of Any Other Acknowledgment Name during our project work.

Abstract
Pick and place robots are commonly used in modern manufacturing environments. Pick and
place automation speeds up the process of picking up parts or items and placing them in other
locations. Automating this process helps to increase production rates. Pick and place robots
handle repetitive tasks while freeing up human workers to focus on more complex work.
The aim of this project is to free the work load typically from human labour and shifting to a
completely automated industry setup. Typically mounted on a stable stand, pick and place robots
are positioned to reach different areas to perform work. With a variety of design options
available, pick and place robots can be configured with various end-of-arm tooling options for
use in different applications, such as assembly, packaging or bin picking. For example, pick and
place robots may be used to pick up items for an order and place them in a box for packaging, or
they may be used to pick up parts needed for assembly and move them to the nextlocation.
This robot uses a reinvent arduino device to control the movement and placing of different items
and the parts are fabricated with the efficient use of a 3D printer.

Introduction
1.1 Introduction
Robotic pick and place automation speeds up the process of picking parts up and placing them in
new locations, increasing production rates.
With many end-of-arm-tooling options available, pick and place robots can be customized to fit
specific production requirements. Moving large, small, heavy, or hard-to-handle products can be
an easy task to automate in the factory line.
Consistency is also a benefit of using a pick and place system. The robots can be easily
programmed and tooled to provide multiple applications if required.
An increase in output with a pick and place robot system offer long-term savings to companies.
With the advancements in technology and affordability of robots, more pick and place robotic
cells are being installed for automation applications.
Earlier the human labour cost along with the risks of any damage to the material or products had
a big expense to roll out in the fiscal year of different automotivecompanies.
Even though there are many advancements in this field of robotics since the time of its
inception , our project includes all such advancements and even further advancements in this
field by introducing a new technology called IOT. It entails connecting different devices to one
board that can be programmed to perform various operations on the system or any machine or
device that it is

A servomotor is a rotary actuator or linear actuator that allows for precise control of angular or
linear position, velocity and acceleration. It consists of a suitable motor coupled to a sensor for
position feedback.

Conclusion
The above work is an overview of how we can use integration of arduino with 3d printing and
circuits to develop a pick and place robot that can manoeuver the robotic arms with the use of
potentiometer.
The application of such a robot are manifold in the current industry and factories that need rapid
production and manufacturing for the components and different parts of automobile or any other
relevant.
This proposed work is an overview of how we can make use of servo motor to make joints of a
robotic arm and control it using potentiometer and arduino UNO. Also used for high loaded
industrial application work.
