1) A friend keeps zoning out in class ( Un amigo se

encuentra distraido en clase)
If I were you/ this person I would go to the phychologist
to see if I have any problem and for that I can’t pay
attention in class
I think I would tell the teacher that I have some
problems to pay attention and when the class finishes, I
would ask for doubts.
2) Your sister/ brother can’t drop off to sleep because
her/his friends keep messaging her ( Tu hermana/ o no
puede quedarse dormido porque sus amigos le siguen
enviando mensajes)

I think he should tell his friends nicely that now it’s time
to sleep and the next day they can continue chatting or
Also, I think he can switch off the mobile phone or put
the phone in airplane mode.

4) Your cousin is staying with you at the moment . He/ she

is sharing a room and snores really loudly. ( Tu primo se

I Think that if I were this person I would wake up my cousin
because for me it is very important to sleep and rest properly or
maybe this person need to make sure that he has headphones to
cover his ears.

5) Your friend babysits for a young child who often wakes

up with nightmares ( Tu amiga cuida a un niño pequeño
que a menudo se despierta con pesadillas)

I think she should try to sleep with the baby if that is

possible to be able to calm him down sooner.
She should have patient and try to sleep a lot before
taking care the baby the day before.

6) A friend doesn’t know what to study in the future ( Un

amigo no sabe que estudiar en el future)

If I were him, I would try to know myself and know what are the
thigs that I like most . He should make a list with advantages and
disadvantages of each degrees and try to find a degree where in the
future he can find a job easily.

I don’t think so because recycling is very important to fight against
pollution / to avoid pollution
I agree with you but recycling is not enough to finish with climate
change and pollution. We need to buy less plastic
I see your point but recycling is also important to have more
materials and resources.
I agree with you however, there are many garbage trucks that put all
the rubbish together from the containers so for that reason, recycling is
a waste of time.

trucks do that

I think schools should provide laptops for all students. How about

I don’t think so because students would use them in class to play
games instead of using them to do the homework
I agree with you, may be that could happen but also teachers can try
to avoid that. I think they can help them to do the homework faster.

I see your point but they use too much technology when they come
back to school and if they use laptops at school, they will use
technology for the whole day
I totally agree what you say, it’s true that they usually use to much
technology, but they don’t need to use laptops with all the subjects
only with some of them
