STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

INTRODUCTION
My name is Suraj Mitesh Shah. I am 21 years old, living with my family in small city named
Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat in India. I am planning to pursue my Post Graduation in
Digital Marketing and Marketing Analytics. I am from an environment, which has a perfect
match of town, and city. People here are very kind-hearted and are of helping nature. I am
pleased to inform that I am from a well-established, middle class family. My father, Mr. Mitesh
Kantilal Shah is an Accountant and my mother Mrs. Komal Mitesh Shah is a self-employed
woman. I have an elder brother, Ravi Shah, who has graduated in Bachelors of Technology (I.T)
and currently studying in Confederation college; an elder sister, Nehal Shah, she has competed
graduation in B.B.A and currently studying in TAV college, Quebec and a younger sister, Hiral
Shah, who is studying in 9th Std. After my graduation, my parents have provided me the
required support and motivation to go further in my academic career. They have given me the
required freedom to make my own decisions concerning my academic career and goals.

ACADEMICS
I consider myself as an average or an even a brilliant student when it comes to academics I have
never taken my education lightly and have always been very sincere at my academics since I
started my schooling. I completed my Secondary Education (10 th) in March 2014 from Central
Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board with 84.5% and Higher Secondary Education
(12th) in March 2016 from Gujarat Board with 70%, and then I took admission in a Bachelor of
Commerce from GLS University Ahmedabad and passed out in May 2019 with 71%.
Meanwhile in continuation to my bachelor degree, to enhance my practical knowledge I started
to handle different projects, which represented my college and had achieved good outcome from
the same.

In order to pursue my future studies in Canada, I have cleared my IELTS examination on 5 th

January 2019 and scored 7.0, 6.0, 6.5 and 6.0 in listening, reading, writing and speaking
respectively with overall band 6.5 (Document Attached).

QUALITIES
I am very confident in my education and my marks will tell you this. The school and colleges I
have studied and have contributed a lot in my effective communication skills. I am innovative
and different in my ideas and also the way I executed it. I always try to keep and maintain a good
relationship with others.
WHY CANADA FOR STUDIES?
Canada was the first and final choice for me when I was in a phase to choose a country for my
post-graduation because some straightforward reasons. The education system of Canada is
brilliant in all sorts of ways and ranked as best among the whole world. In addition to that,
Canada is a safe and peaceful nation with superb health care facilities. Canada has World-class
Colleges and Universities all across the World. All Canadian institutes provide a dynamic,
innovative and challenging environment in which one can create and nurture their true potential.
Canadian qualification will surely be a strong base for boosting my career and building my
future. Every year, talented students from all over the globe do come to Canada to study so that
they can make their dream come true. Studying with them will surely expose me to their cultures
and ethics, as well as improve my communication skills.

International students get benefitted from services to help them in living and studying in Canada
such as student advisor, language support, social clubs, and other programs at their educational
institutes. International students have the opportunity to work during their studies and even after
they graduate. University graduates may also be eligible for transition to permanent residence in
Canada.

in one of the best colleges in Ontario.
WHY DIGITAL MARKETING AND MARKETING
ANALYTICS?
New digital technologies have fundamentally reshaped marketing theory and practice over the
last decade and have led to a drastic shift in the quality and quantity of information we are able to
store, access, and analyse. With this proliferation of data has come an increasing need for many
businesses to better understand and react to various consumer patterns, as well as evolve the way
they measure, plan, and implement their marketing activity. As such, there’s been a growing
demand for skilled marketing analysts who are equipped to ensure optimal return on investment
(ROI) for marketing spend and to deliver valuable insights that drive better customer service.
And thanks to Confederation College for having this program. They have bright Management
faculty members, and they teach how Confederation College equips students with the
information and experience they need to work on the latest technology.

FUTURE GOAL
As going to be a part of a confederation family, and after being a capable marketer with well
trainers and well-studied subjects, I will be a post-graduate in Digital Marketing. My primary
need is to gain valuable experience at international level. This experience will help me gain jobs
in reputed Multi-National Companies in India. Digital Marketing is one of the most important
fields of Marketing and considered as the mediator of all other fields in the business sector.
Potential titles are Digital Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Specialist, Digital Marketing
Copywriter, Marketing Analyst, Marketing Customer Service Representative etc. There are
advanced fields in marketing, which require specific qualifications or Certifications like Master
of Professional Digital Marketing. Majority of employers are looking for a skilled graduate, and
having the International education and experience will help me easily crack an excellent job at a
higher position in reputed company with a very good pay scale.
