 1. SCOPE STATEMENT:

The system will allow the company to deliver its products in less than 45 min. And it will

also work as a bridge between the customer and the pizza factories leading to an increase in

sales given that the quality and taste are liked by the customers and the sales have fallen

just because of the delivery time. There will be a central ordering facility that will allow the

factories to receive the order from the customer and prepare the food accordingly in a

timely manner.

Note: We are using mobile vans for quicker delivery. So these vans will be stocked up every

morning and will reach their specified locations from where they will operate and make,

bake and deliver on their way.

IN-SCOPE:

 To set up to deliver the pizzas within the said time frames within the reachable area

radius of the outlet.

 We will have to make use of the commercial-off-the-shelf software for the registration

of orders, redirecting- rerouting them to the nearest factory location of any order, for

the estimated time updates to the client.

 Make production efficient and reduce delivery.

OUT-SCOPE:

 Vendors for distribution in the market or any retail outlets.

 Delivering to the areas out of the specific radius range of the factory outlet.

 Any additional requirements or services asked for without renegotiation

 Food Licensing and Factory building permits.

 Quality of food that gets delivered.

 Content for branding or advertising, promoting the PDQ

 Any sales drop/quality drop after the specific period as discussed in the contract.

Order Entry Subsystem:

 Once a customer places an order, order details will be received by the software at the

main factory location

 Factory will also be notified of the latest location of their van.

Logistics Subsystem

 Customers’ location will be tracked.

 The software will redirect the order to the nearest van.

Order Submit Subsystem:

 Order confirmations and generating the invoice details

 Factory will receive an update on the latest remaining stock materials in the van.

 Estimated delivery time for the client will be updated.
