Bob Sadino is well-known for his shorts. Every time he appears in public,
he wears his shorts. People know him a s a successful businessman. He was
born on March 9th, 1939, to a wealthy family. He inherited all his family
properties when his parents died because all his four siblings were considered
to have prosperous lives. He spent all his money travelling around the world.
For 9 years, he stayed in The Netherlands and met his wife, Soelami Soejoed.
At that time, he worked for Djakarta Lloyd in Amsterdam and Hamburg,
Germany.
He is a successful Indonesian businessman who proposes the idea of
entrepreneurship. Only a few people did business through risk and initiative in
Indonesia at that time. He and his partner started a business by selling

became well-known and Sadino’s business grew significantly. He then
expanded his business by selling chicken meat.

Victoria Caroline Beckham is an English singer-songwriter, dancer,
model, actress, fashion designer and businesswoman. She was born on
April 17th, 1974, in Essex, England. She became famous in the 1990’s with
the pop group “The Spice Girls” and was known as Posh Spice. In 1999,
she married the Manchester United and England footballer, David
Beckham. They have four children, three sons and a daughter.
After The Spice Girls split up, she pursued a solo singing career,
but also started her own fashion range called dVb Style. Since this initial
foray into fashion Victoria Beckham has brought out her own range of
sunglasses and fragrance, entitled ‘intimately Beckham” and a range of
handbags and jewelry.
In addition she had written two best-selling books : one her
autobiography and the other, a fashion guide.

Amelia Earhart
Aviator Amelia Earhart was born in Atchison, Kansas, on July
24th 1897. She grew up in the upper-middle-class household of her
maternal grandparents. She went to several different schools
because she found it hard to do well academically and socially.
However, she was very interested in science and sports. In 1923,
she was known as “Lady Lindy” because she became the 16th
woman to be issued a pilot’s licence. In 1982, she was also the first
woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean as well as the first person to
fly both the Atlantic and pacific.
She mysteriously disappeared while trying to fly around the
globe from the equator in 1937. There have been many speculative
theories regarding Earhart’s last days. They have been connected to
various artifacts that have been found on Pacific islands such as
tools, clothing, and many more recently, freckle cream. Finally,
Earhart was declared dead in 1939.

Taylor Alison Swift is a singer, song-writer and an actress. She was born
on December 13th, 1989 in Pennsylvania, USA. She had already shown her
talent as singing since her childhood. Swift sang at a variety of local events,
including fairs at the age of 10. She began writing her own songs and learning
guitar when she was 12 years old.
Swift frequently went to Tennessee, the country music capital. Then,
moved to Hendersonville, Tennessee, together with her family, in an attempt to
further career. Her attempt was a great success. Finally, she signed a contract
with Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine Records when she performed at The
Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.
She released her first single album “Tim McGraw” which became a top 10

Said No”.

Picasso
Picasso was one of the most outstanding and important artists of the
1900’s. He is best known for his paintings. Almost every style in modern art
is represented in Picasso's works.
Picasso was born in 1881 in Malaga, Spain as the son of an art
teacher. He studied painting from his father and his college level course of
study at the academy of arts in Madrid.
From about 1895 to 1901, he painted realistic works in a traditional
style. Then, he entered the Blue Period. During this time, he only used
shades of blue in his paintings to show the poverty he saw in Barcelona.
After 1908, he entered into the style of cubism. Among his well-known
cubist paintings are “Three Musicians” and “Man with a Guitar”.
Picasso died in Moughins, France in 1973. He was really great artist.

RA Kartini
Kartini was born on April 21, 1879, in Mayong Jepara. As the
daughter of a noble family, she felt luck because she got more than the
ordinary people got. Her father was chosen as the head of regency in
Jepara. She and her family then moved from Mayong to Jepara. Here, she
could study at the Dutch owned school where only children from noble
family could study here.
Few years after finishing her study, RA. Kartini was willing
to continue her study in higher level. But the custom of that day forbid
a woman to go to school. Although she was not able to continue her study
to higher level, she was smart had a bright idea. She got the knowledge
from the books she read. To express her idea, she established a school for
local people on the backyard of Jepara city hall. 
In November 12,1903, she married Adipati Djoyodiningrat, the head
of Rembang regency. According to Javanese tradition Kartini had to
follow her husband. Then, she moved to Rembang. In September 13, 1904
she gave a birth to her son. His name was Singgih. But after giving birth to
a son, her condition was getting worse and she finally passed away on
September 17, 1904 on her 25 years old.
