There are several importance an antimicrobial susceptibility testing have. First, it is helpful on
the prescription of effective antibiotics and for the determination of patient-specific treatment and
epidemiological resistance monitoring. Lastly, we all know that antimicrobials are a very valuable
component in modern medicine. Their progress has supported technological advancements in
cancer therapy, transplantation, and surgery, as well as remarkable reductions in contagious disease
mortality.
