Rock and bourbon, rock and brandy, and rock and rum are defined as liqueurs or cordials made with at least 51% bourbon whiskey, brandy, or rum respectively, along with rock candy or sugar syrup and optional fruits or flavors. Rum liqueur/cordial and gin liqueur/cordial are defined as having a predominant rum or gin flavor, using the respective spirit as the exclusive base, and containing at least 30% alcohol. Wine may be added to any type in an amount not exceeding 2.5% of the total volume.
