GENERAL INFORMATION
KappAhl Test Routines is a document showing required Test package to be done on an order depending on
product. KappAhl do not demand a test report for every test stated in Physical and Chemical Requirements, but it
is essential that all requirements are met.
KappAhl reserve the right to ask for additional documentation showing that all requirements have been met.
Expenses
Test are made at the supplier’s expense and shall be included during price negotiations.
Laboratories
All testing must be carried out according to test methods stated in KappAhl’s Physical requirements and
Chemical requirements. The latest edition of every method shall be used if no other information is mentioned.
All tests must be performed by laboratories approved by KappAhl. Contact KappAhl Quality Department or
Production Offices for information regarding approved laboratories in all areas.
Test Report
The test report must be written in English and the hard copy and returned samples must be sent to your local
KappAhl office. A soft copy of the test report must also be emailed directly from the laboratory to KappAhl`s
local office and supplier.
If repeat/long-life/booking orders or orders with the same fabric placed with same supplier, perform full test
package every sixth month.
Test Sample
Required tests shall be done on counter sample. Counter sample must be in bulk fabric and with bulk accessories
and details. An approved test report must be sent to your local KappAhl office before cutting/ before production
starts.
