Principle of Roller Press

 The grinding force (F point) is


transferred from the hydraulic system
via the movable roller to the material.
 Two opposite rotated rollers squeeze
the materials between two rollers into
high density cakes.
 The material in compression zone get
80~100MPa extrusion pressure under
the hydraulic pressure.
 Granular materials are crushed and
produced many tiny cracks, so that it can
improve the grind ability of materials.

• 40CrMnMo is often used to manufacture the parts with heavy load and large section, such as gears,
large truck rear axle half shafts , shafts, eccentric shafts, connecting rods and steam turbine shafts.
• 42CrMo steel is a high strength steel with better toughness, good hardenability, no obvious tempering
brittleness, high fatigue limit and multiple impact resistance after quenching and tempering treatment,
and good low-temperature impact toughness.
• Comparing this two materials at the same section size, 40CrMnMo has higher strength and lower
toughness for parts;42CrMo has lower strength but better toughness.

3. Technical Features

Hard-wearing Sleeve

 The surfacing layer includes: base layer, transition


layer, wear-resistant layer and surface pattern. The
pattern shape includes horizontal bar, diamond, etc.,
Generally, the surface hardness is HRC = 58 ± 2.

 Suitable for feeding material with low abradability ,


easy to repair online.
There are many cracks on the surface, large residual
stress and normal spalling resistance, especially
after on-line repair.

Stud Sleeve

 The roll surface base material is made of


unique material. Differential temperature
quenching improves the surface hardness,
wear resistance and hard layer thickness.
The hardened layer is deeper (up to
50mm), the surface hardness is higher and
the wear resistance is improved.
 The stud with bottom support is designed
to effectively ensure the full contact
between the column nail and the base
metal.
 Small studs are arranged at the side edges,
and end face adopts replaceable baffle.

Feeding device
 Flexible adjustment of feeding device, and the
blanking gap is adjustable from 0 to full width,
so as to adjust the overall throughput.
 Double layer side baffle can reduce the
leakage of edge materials, improve the
pressure distribution on the roller surface and
the work capacity.
 The tangential material retaining device can
reduce the reverse overflow of materials,
make the materials enter the pressure area as
soon as possible, reduce the idle work
consumption and the wear of roller surface.
 The electro-hydraulic push rod / multi rotation
actuator is used to realize stepless adjustment
of feeding amount.

Principle
 The material feed from the top. Due to gravity, materials impact
guide plates and become incompact. In the cascade process,
the particles take a shape as “material curtain” in separator.
 At the same time, by the negative pressure in separator,
airflow enters into separator from air inlet, and cross the
separator evenly through air distribution plates.
 The fine particles are taken away from air outlet, and collected
by cyclone or filter as output. The coarse particles fall down
towards the bottom outlet, and return to the roller press.
 The practical cut size range of the V-Separator extends from
0.1~3mm.

Backward inclined\Nu type graded blade: Lower resistance and Higher efficiency
 According to the equipment specifications and the characteristics of sorted materials, the backward
inclined \ Nu blade form (usually backward inclined type for small specifications and Nu type for large

Labyrinth-Pneumatic seal: control fineness


Labyrinth pneumatic compound seal is adopted, which is composed of three seals. In particular, labyrinth seal 2 is an
integral machined wear-resistant part, and the seal spacing is easy to ensure, which can effectively avoid the coarsening
problem of raw meal R200 microns, and the sorted raw meal has better burnability.
