THE SOCIAL COMMUNICATOR AS AN AGENT OF CHANGE FOR

SOCIETY.
Before talking about social communication, you should know what communication is.
Communication is the greatest transmission of information between two or more beings. To
communicate, people use various sign systems: auditory, visual, tactile, olfactory, and linguistic. Social
Communication is a field of sociological analysis that explores in particular what is related to
information, how it is perceived, transmitted and understood, and its social effect.

The evolution of the media has been of great importance in recent years.

In earlier times, social communication was only worked through print media, such as the
newspaper, which is the most used print media than any other media in social communication.
Then audiovisual media such as television and radio were implemented. At present, in addition to
having these two types of media, we have a new medium that is born in this 21st century, which is social
networks. These social networks work through the Internet, you can search for any type of news quite
fastest, and it is the most widely used means of information today.

The process of sharing information could not be viable without communication. It is essential to
highlight that human interrelationships are achieved through communication, because it helps
individuals to express their ideas and allows them to understand their emotions through others.
Consequently, we have the possibility of developing better feelings of affection or resentment towards
others. Communication is such a useful social tool that without this instrument we would not be
able to intervene in ideas, emotions or occupations of other people. The destiny of people is to face and
solve problems and that is, the work of communication.

Your communication skills are a great tool to

understand others.

In today's society, the role of the Social Communicator must make his designation a prerogative,
that is, communication must be more social and that means being more human, imposing a strong bond
with the population. Get to know closely and mix with the culture of the peoples, with their way of
collective thought, and this involves the people in all their social strata and in their different beliefs, as
today's communicator should have and one of the primordial values is tolerance, in this way you will
know the true meaning of the mass public.

Good communicators are able to capture the attention of listeners and

ensure that the ideas they transmit reach, are understood and retained.
