NARRATIVE REPORT ON EARLY REGISTRATION DAY

Last January 26, 2019 was declared by the Deped as the Early Registration
Day for school year 2019 – 2020 in the public elementary and secondary schools in
order to achieve universal participation and completion of the cycle.

“Makapag-aral ay Karapatan Mo, Magpalista,” was the theme for this year Early
Registration Day.

Sulo Elementary School joined and conducted the said activity with special
participation of local and barangay officials to take part the massive advocacy campaign
to reach all out of school children and all five- year old and six –year old to ensure their
enrolment for the school year 2019-2020.

Prior to the early Registration Day, necessary preparation was made: like
hanging of Tarpaulin, announcements were posted in every purok of the barangay, so
that parents in the community where really informed.  Because of this collaboration
between school and PTA and barangay officials, On the Day of Registration, many
parents responded and brought their young children to school, for listing.  Because of
massive campaign done on this day, as far as the enrolment is concerned, we noticed
and observed the increase of the school enrolment for the school year 2019 – 2020.
Therefore the school this year is really in need of additional classroom buildings,
teachers, textbooks and desks to meet and response the call and the objectives of
Education For All (EFA).

We really, look forward that our needs and assistance will be given and
answered to prevent pupils and students from dropping out from school.

The teacher makes sure that all their children were present in that day so that
no one can be left behind. Teacher talk to the parents of the pupils to advice that all
their children need to have a full stomach before going to school that will serve as a

distribution of chewable tablets to the pupils with the assistance of health personnel.

At the end, the said occasion was very successful with the collaborative effort
of everyone. Health and education, particularly for school-age children, are truly closely
