Joint Affidavit in Support of Free Patent Application: LMO/Land Investigator/LMI/DPLI
1. That we personally know ___________________ who has filed Free Patent Application
No. _____________ for a tract of land located in the Municipality of ____________, Province of
Batangas;
3. That the said applicant has continuously occupied and cultivated the land by himself/or
his predecessor-in-interest for a period of thirty (30) years and have paid real estate tax hereon
prior to the effectivity of Republic Act. No. 6940 which took effect on April 16, 1990 and it is
free from claim and conflict;
4. That we are not related to the applicant either by consanguinity or by affinity and we are
not personally interested in the land applied for nor in the granting of patent; and
5. That to the best of our knowledge, belief and information, the applicant is a natural born
Filipino citizen of the Philippines, and is not the owner of more than twelve (120) hectares of the
land in the Philippines.
