TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

new cases. [1] The province of Pangasinan was not spared of the pandemic with a total of 938 cases. [2] Thus, the risk
RATIONALE of contracting CoVID-19 is still high as each day sees new cases being added to the total. Thus, this study will aim to
assess PSU Lingayen Campus employees’ and students’ perceived risk of being infected by CoVID-19 and the means
through which they cope with the risk of being infected by CoVID-19 and identify behavioral changes with regards to the
pandemic.

This study aims to (1) determine the profile of the respondents; (2) identify the CoVID-19 risk perception of the
OBJECTIVES respondents; (3) determine the ways of coping used by respondents in dealing with the risk of CoVID-19 infection; (4)
identify the efforts made by respondents to prepare in case of infection among immediate household members.

The study will make use of descriptive-correlational method which is useful for describing relationships among variables,
without seeking to establish a causal connection. [3] A survey questionnaire adopted from a 2020 study by Gerhold was
formulated and improved by the proponent to fit the profile of the respondents. [4] The respondents of the study are
