SWOT model of Acecook

General information
 The company has 6 branches and 11 factories throughout the country with nearly 6 thousand highly-trained employees. Both the
headquarters and the head office are located in Ho Chi Minh City.
 In Acecook Vietnam, all the factories are equipped with the most modern machinery, equipment and production line. Each pack of Hao
Hao Sour and Spicy Shrimp Flavored Noodle must undergo a production process with 12 strict steps for quality control, food safety and
hygiene.
 In order to quickly and timely produce accurate test results, the company has invested and operated a laboratory which meets
international standard ISO/ IEC 17025 and was accredited by the Bureau of Accreditation (BoA) under the Ministry of Science and
Technology in 2015. This laboratory is operated by 30 qualified staff who are regularly trained at prestigious analytical centers in the
country and Acecook Japan.

SWOT analysis
STRENGTHS
 The biggest name in the instant noodles industry with over 50% market share.
 Many factories in many areas can help save time and reduce costs in transporting goods to
wholesalers and retailers.
 The company has already gained a huge number of loyal clients due to its time in the
industry.
 The company has special labs equipped with the most advanced technology from Japan so
the products will be fresh, nutritious and safe.
WEAKNESSES
 There are many domestic and foreign brands so the market is much more competitive which
could result in a drop in the demand.
 It is hard to keep health regulations during the pandemic.
 Many employees have to stay home to practice social distancing for their safety so the
productivity will decrease. 

OPPORTUNITIES
 As the pandemic’s condition is still very complicated, people will face a lot of obstacles or
even have to stop working which means their demands for affordable and convenient foods
such as instant noodle will rise.
 The delivery price is less expensive nowadays which means the line of distribution can be
improved and the company can save money to focus on other parts.

THREATS

 Changes in consumer spending power can be a threat to the company’s demand as they can
switch to cheaper or more expensive alternatives.
