Client Overview
The Client is one of the twenty largest commercial bank holding companies in the U.S. Founded in 1856 in western New York and now with over 750 branches and 14000 employees the client has offices in Delaware, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey, and Washington D.C.

Business Challenge
The Client was considering an alternative solution to their existing internal communications program that would promote a higher level of employee engagement and interaction, enable smoother and a more efficient flow of corporate information, recycle content and leverage the corporate technology investment. The end objective was to improve business productivity.

Collabera Solution
Collabera has been engaged for the end-to-end content management system project starting from strategy to implementation. Collabera executed the project in three phases.

Phase 1 Content Management System (CMS) Strategy A solution roadmap was defined with the objective The Intranet was to become the most preferred destination for communications with employees and must also leverage the SharePoint 2010 features to the fullest.

Collabera conducted a 5 week onsite assessment of the existing corporate intranet portal and the organizations need for the future intranet solution. This involved the analysis of the current underlying technology and legacy applications that needed to be replaced.

Phase 2 The Out of the Box implementation In phase 2 of the engagement, Collabera assisted the client in installing a SharePoint 2010 Infrastructure for their development, test and production environments. The SharePoint 2010 Infrastructure installation project was a 7 week effort to install, configure and test certain collaborative capabilities and establish a functioning SharePoint environment in which proofs of concept could be executed. The process involved Defining the backup and disaster recovery procedure and best practices Defining the centralized management methodology using Service Centre Operations Manager (SCOM) Providing guidance to define Security control and access control procedures

The Site POC were accomplished through SharePoint features configuration Simulated TI users and group security SharePoint Administration and management Active Directory, Exchange, and Office integration Collaboration and file sharing InfoPath Forms and workflow Management reporting and dashboards
