Late Fee for CPC Application/Certification Renewal

• An additional fee will apply if the CPC Certification Renewal is not completed b one's deadline, and will depend on the
number of days past the renewal deadline:
• 1-30 days post deadline
o No fee/grace period
• 31-182 days post deadline
o $100
• 183 days to 1 year post deadline
o $250
• 1 year to 2 years post deadline
o $500
• 2 years to 3 years post deadline
o $750
• 3 years to 4 years post deadline
o $1,000

CHECK-IN
Check-in fee
Note: Beginning in 2020, instead of the CPC fee being due every two years, the fee structure will change to every four years and
will coincide with the timing of the every-four-year Certification Renewal Application. As we continue with the four-year payment
cycle, the CPC fee will be $250 every four years and there will no longer be a fee associated with the Check-in application done at
the mid-point of each 4-year CPC cycle. The Check-in will still be a component of the CPC Program as it serves several essential
functions, but there will no longer be a fee associated with it.
(A small number of newer certificants will still be required to pay the Check-in fee through 2021. See your personalized deadlines
and next steps by logging onto the NBCRNA portal www.portal.nbcrna.com.)

An additional fee will apply if the CPC Check-in was/is not completed by one's deadline, and will depend on the number of days
past the Check-in deadline:

1-30 days post Check-In deadline

• No fee/grace period
31-60 days post Check-In deadline
• $35; the certificant would need to pay the current CPC fee, plus an additional $35 fee
61-90 days post Check-In deadline
• $75; the certificant would need to pay the current CPC fee, and the additional fee increases to $75
91 days post Check-In deadline
• $110; the certificant would need to pay the current CPC fee and at this point, the additional fee increases to $110

NCE
Application Fee
• The NCE application fee is $995 as of January 1, 2019
• The NCE application fee and any other applicable fees must be paid electronically through the NBCRNA website. All fees
must accompany the online application form. Institutional checks, personal checks or money orders will not be processed.
The NBCRNA does not directly invoice individuals or institutions for payment of any examination fees
Retake Application
• The NCE retake fee is $995 as of January 1, 2019.
Reauthorization Fee
• $75
• Candidates who appear without the specified identification will not be permitted to take the NCE and will be required to
pay the reauthorization fee in order to receive a new eligibility notice.

SEE
Examination Fee
• $250 as of January 1, 2019
• All fees must be paid electronically before the online registration created by the program administrator can be processed.
Institutional checks, personal checks or money orders will not be processed. The NBCRNA does not directly invoice
individuals or institutions for payment of any examination fees.
Reauthorization Fee
• $75
• Candidates who appear without the specified identification will not be permitted to take the SEE and will be required to
pay the reauthorization fee in order to receive a new eligibility notice.

NSPM
Application Fee - For initial NSPM Certification
• $1500
• The NSPM application fee and any other applicable fees must be paid electronically through the NBCRNA website. All fees
must accompany the online application form. Institutional checks, personal checks or money orders will not be processed.
The NBCRNA does not directly invoice individuals or institutions for payment of any examination fees.
Reschedule/Cancellation Fee
• $50
 • A candidate may reschedule or cancel a testing appointment directly with Castle up to four business days in advance of his
or her testing appointment. A fee of $50will apply and must be made to Castle at the time of the request. Any fees
collected by Castle due to the rescheduling or cancellation of an NSPM examination appointment are retained by Castle.
NSPM Examination Fee

Retake Application
• $625
• Candidates who have applied for the NSPM credential but failed the NSPM examination, will be offered the opportunity to
reapply for the NSPM exam one time by submitting an abbreviated NSPM Retake Application. This Retake Application must
be submitted within 12 months of the initial application.

REENTRY PROGRAM

• The Rentry Program application fee must be paid electronically through the NBCRNA website. The NBCRNA does not
