The given line graph provides information about the proportion of visitors who
went to four attaction locations in Edinburgh (Aquarium, Castle, Zoo, Festival)
between 1980 and 2010.
The initial impression from the chart is the figures for Zoo and Castle witnessed a
slight rise through the period of time, whereas the opposite was true for that of
Festival and Aquarium.
In the chart, the data of people going to the Zoo saw a fluctuation during 20 years
and then rose gradually to 20% in 2010. There was a sharp growth in the number
of Castle visitors and reached a peak at 45 per cent in 1995. After that, it began to
drop to around 30 per cent at the end of time.
Starting at a higher point than that in Castle line, more than twice, around 25%, the
number of tourists going to the Aquarium spiked to the peak (35%) in 1985 and
dropped to just under 10% after 25 years. In 1980, Castle was the most tourist
attractive place. From this point onwards, it experienced a slight decline and
coutinuous 30 years later.
