LITERARY TEXT
Love Makes the World Go Round
S. Dumdum Jr.
He was wild.
In her sixth month, he had the map of the world
Tattoed on her belly.
And then, without saying goodbye,
He left for America.
Elements of a Story
Characters: The pregnant Women- Her belly was the earth and she was the focus of the
story
The Earth- It was the one doing all sorts of action in the interpretation of the creation of
the world.
Elements of a Poem
Sense: Sense of hearing. By this you can hear the words and the actions by sense of
hearing. You feel the poem lingering unto you and its meaning.
Sound: Slow Rhythm because it has a slow pace when saying the words and it has a very
mellow kind of romantic sound.
Structure: Free Verse because of the author writing what he wants without following a
certain structure. Free verse is basically saying what you feel and you can express your
imagination more clearly because of the freedom to write what you want.
Theme: The Creation because it defines how the world was created in a imaginative way
possible. It has a good storyline and a little bit complicated.
Tone / Mood: Mellow/ Loving vibe. It shows how the author was happy in writing his
work because you can clearly see that his words are gentle and touching.
