French Connection fall collection;

The fall collection of French Connection was a 1970’s era French bourgeois chic. The fall
collection of fcuk in New York Fashion Week was a big success. The runway show was set
in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood at The Caldwell Factory, a landmark building that has
served as both a taxi garage and the studio of photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Maria Chen, creative director of French Connection designed the Autumn/Winter collection
for the modern individual who plays on the balance of minimalism and maximalism. The
brand shows the sophisticated tailoring, pared-back silhouettes, and muted tones but the other
side features clashing and prints and an unexpected mix of bold hues. The whole styling done
with minimal makeup and effortless swept-back hair gave a feeling of strong new confidence.

The Creative Director shared some major FC trend to look out for this fall – “supple leather,
architectural silhouettes, and Seventies-era French inspired bourgeois chic. For menswear,
it’s mix-and-match styling, Alpine-mountaineering influences with technical suits, modern
