GATHERING CENTER

The Crude oil, which is Produced From the reservoir,Flow through

Various well- down- hole equipment and surface facilities
It is collected in a place called a gathering center .
EQUIPMENT

There are some equipments in gathering station:

• >Manifold
• >Header
• >Piping
• >Test sperator
• >Production spreator
• >Test tank
• >production tank
• >oil transfer pump .
REQUIREMENTS FOR (GGS)

• Seprate oil, gas and water in the most efficient manner.

• Treating of oil emulsion for removal of water.
• Metering oil, gas and water.
• Provide temporary storage of oil.
• Arrangements for disposal of water and low pressure gas.
• Sepration and despatch of high pressure gas from low pressure oil.
OIL RESERVOIR AND WELLHEAD
CRUDE OIL PROCESS IN GC

• The oil gatherings system from the wells to the GC may consists of
single flow line from a well to its seprations equipment by 6”flow
lines. Flow lines are usually terminated at headers.

• The crude oil processes, through grove valve and headers into

seprators.
Where the pressure is boosted up and send to (Liquified
petroleum gas) LPG plant.
SEPARATOR
DESALTER

• The crude oil either is routed to the dry tank or wet tank.
the wet crude treated at the desalter plant, where water and salt
removed.
DESALTER PROCESS
DRY TANK

• The treated crude is then routed to dry tanks . Finally, crude

oil is pumped the from dry tank to the Refinery tank from and
the tank vapour gas is routed to the Condensate Recovery Uint
(CRU).
