ADMINISTERING NASAL MEDICATION


DEFINITION
 Administration of medication via nasal route.

PURPOSE
 To relieve nasal congestion.
 To treat infection.

EQUIPMENT
 Nasal drop solution.
 Disposable gloves (optional)
 Tissue paper
 Pillow roll (or large towel into pillow roll)

PROCEDURE RATIONALE
