1. What types of information about your pupil’s /student’ progresses
have you obtained? How did you make use of these effectively?
Using a formative assessment and summative assessment as a
tool to monitor my students’ progress and how they are learning, I gathered results and it clearly shows that they are improving. I use the scores of my students for comparison. The pre-test and post-test were used effectively in a way that I can certainly observe the big difference. Also, some of the activities were essays and reflections. Using these kind of activities were of help in gaining information about how well does my student apply their knowledge in written outputs.
2. If there were learners who did poorly in one subject area, what did you do to address this?
To be honest, no student in my class performed poorly. All of
them were excellent. With their performance, they provided me the decision to give fair and high grades. In my case, my students were very smart and I am happy about it so I usually give positive feedback. Although there were no poor performances, I still communicate to my students and always give them the positive approach that I will always be free for students who will talk to me privately and share their difficulties to immediately find out the best intervention for it.
