Mindray CLIA Cal and QC Storage Method

Items that their calibrators do not need to be aliquoted and frozen:

When calibration, take the calibrator out from 2-8℃, mix well, aspirate

the required amount into the sample cup, and immediately put the

remaining calibrator back to 2-8℃.

AFP、CEA、CA125、CA15-3、CA19-9、FPSA、t-PSA、FERR

FT3 、 FT4 、 T3 、 T4 、 rT3 、 PCT 、 PIIINP 、 CIV 、 HA 、 LN 、 PG

I、PG II、CA50,CA242、HE4、SCCA、ProGRP;

Total β HCG、FSH、LH、TESTO、PROG、E2、E3;

HBsAg、Anti-HBs、HBeAg、Anti-HBe、Anti-HBc、HIV;

Insulin、C-Peptide、DHEA-S、Cortisol、Tg、Anti-Tg、Anti-TPO;

CA72-4 、 CYFRA21-1 、 Anti-HCV 、 Anti-TP 、 ALD 、 nCoV

NTAb、nCoV S-RBD、nCoV TAb;

Items that their calibrators need to be aliquoted and frozen:

After the calibrator is opened, use the EP tube to aliquot it (one aliquot is

the volume required for one calibration + dead volume), and then store it
at -20°C. Take it out before use and equilibrate to room temperature.

TSH、PRL

Items that their calibrators need to be reconstituted, aliquoted and

frozen:

Troponin I 、 BNP 、 Myoglobin 、 CK-

MB、ACTH、NSE、Renin、AMH

Reconstitution and storage method of calibrator:

1. Take out the calibrator and equilibrate for 15-30 minutes to the room

temperature. Place the lyophilized bottle vertically to ensure that the

powder remains at the bottom of the bottle.

2. Unscrew the outer cover and carefully remove the rubber stopper. Place

the rubber stopper upside down on a clean surface.

3. Use the calibrated pipette to accurately aspirate distilled water or

deionized water according to the instructions, and carefully add it to the

bottle along the bottle wall.

4. Cover the rubber stopper and balance for 20-30 minutes. During this

period, it needs to be inverted and mixed repeatedly to ensure that all

powder is completely dissolved and no bubble is formed.

5. Dissolve the reconstituted and mixed calibrator evenly, aliquot it with

EP tube (one aliquot is the volume required for one calibration + dead

volume), then store at -20°C. Take it out before use and equilibrate to

room temperature.

QC storage:

After unpacking the QC product, mix the QC materials of different

bottles in the dispensing container evenly, use EP tubes for aliquot (one

aliquot is the volume required for one QC + dead volume), and then store

at -20°C. Take it out before use and equilibrate to room temperature.

For the SARS-CoV-2 antibody QC products, there is no need to aliquot

and freeze them. Take it out from 2-8℃ during use, mix well and aspirate
the required amount into the sample cup, immediately put the remaining

QC products back to 2-8℃; or insert the original tube into the sample

rack directly on the machine, close the bottle cap immediately after

aspiration, put the remaining QC products back to 2-8℃.

Lyophilized powder QC products storage:

Involved product: ACTH QC, NSE QC, cardiac marker QC, hypertension

QC and AMH QC.

QC product reconstitution and storage method:

1. Take out the QC and equilibrate for 15-30 minutes to room

temperature. Place the lyophilized bottle vertically to ensure that the

powder remains at the bottom of the bottle.

2. Unscrew the outer cover and carefully remove the rubber stopper. Place

the rubber stopper upside down on a clean surface.

3. Use a calibrated pipette to accurately aspirate distilled water or

deionized water according to the instructions, and carefully add it to the

bottle along the bottle wall.

4. Cover the rubber stopper and balance for 20-30 minutes. During this

period, it needs to be inverted and mixed repeatedly to ensure that all

powder is completely dissolved and no bubble is formed.

5. Dissolve the reconstituted and evenly mixed QC, aliquot it with EP

tubes (one aliquot is the volume required for one QC + dead volume), and

then store at -20°C. Take it out before use and equilibrate to room

temperature.
