OBJECTIVES

This study will utilize the physiochemical properties of vegetable wastes for the
production of ethanol-based disinfectant. Specifically, this research study aims to
achieve the following objectives:
1. Determine the physiochemical properties of vegetables wastes to be utilized for the
production of bioethanol.
2. Identify the most cost-effective solution among the three replicates:
a. 80% ethanol content
b. 60% ethanol content
c. 40% ethanol content
3. To determine whether the following solutions are effective against high-resistant
bacteria and viruses present in common touching points, i.e., Staphylococcus aureus:
a. 80% ethanol content
b. 60% ethanol content
c. 40% ethanol content
