SY 2021-2022
I. INTRODUCTION

"What you have accomplished in the past is a much stronger example

than talking about what you are capable of doing in the future. Actions do
speak louder than words!" Catherine Pulsifer,
Baler Central School is the only recognized SPEd Center in the division of Aurora ,
that offered program for “Children with Special Needs (CSN) or Learners with Special
Educational Needs (LSENs) or it can be Students with Additional Needs (SWAN). Inspite of
more for these children the true to it is they are the Special one that needs special attention ,
special care and more of all they need special programs and projects that will help them in
their future life on how to act and be normal.

This school year 2021-2022 revealed all the accomplishments made within a year
whether it is satisfactorily or not and these output served as the basis of what we have done,
what are the things to be improved , the strengths and weaknesses , that serves as our guide
for the next school year on how to improve well. “ Action without planning is the cause of
all failure and action with planning is the cause of all success. “

MONTHLY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

I. PUPIL’S DEVELOPMENT

JUNE :

*June 30, 2019 SPED pupils & teachers received school supplies from Mrs. Geraldine
M. Barrantes and together with her daughter Cookie Barrantes amounting to 30K.

JULY:

* July 15, 2019 7 SPED pupils received 9 pcs. of hearing aids and batteries good for 5
months from STARKEY Foundation in TARLAC CITY as part of their After Care which is
the replacement of damage hearing aids and gave additional batteries good for 5 months
amounting to 9 hearing aids and batteries costs 450K for hearing aids and 30K for batteries.

* Pupils also attended PWDs month Celebration held at Baler Municipal Plaza,
Baler, Aurora last July 25, 2019.

* 61 pupils received 1K( Php 66K) served as Educational Assistance from Provincial
fund under PSWDO – Mr. Abigail F. Paulino- PSWDO Officer /Mr. Richard Baoy – PDAW
Representative of Aurora last July 26, 2019.

* Pupils received 1 set of Volleyball and ballpens for SPED Teachers from SOCO
Baler Team amounting to Php 1,500.

* GSP Aurora Council gave sling bags, headban and merienda for 65 SPED pupils
and 5 pcs. of bags for teachers amounting to 10K.

* SPED pupils participated in monthly activities such as Nutrition Month etc.

* SPED pupils received 1 wooden sungka from Kuya Ed Montemayor amounting to

Php250.00 for DFOT –Division Festival of Talents.

AUGUST:
  August 10, 2019 Mam Ria received seeds from DA (Mrs. Susan Rutaquio) , they
are sitao, okra, ampalaya, calabasa and patola. Amounting to Php 500.00.
 Participated in Buwan ng Wika.

SEPTEMBER:

 Two Pupils received hearing aids from STARKEY FOUNDATION- 1 from

SPED –Jaymart Cabarlles (2) and 1 from SSC – Princess P. Gonzales –Grade
VISSC (1) & batteries for 7 pupils good for 5 months amounting to 185K and
Starkey gave additional 80 sets/packs of batteries for the hearing aid amounting
to 8K.

OCTOBER:

 SPEd Festival held at Baler Central School

Awards received:
- 1st in Therapeutic Art- 3 SPED pupils
- 1st in Cooking – Parent and Child
- 1st in Badminton Girls and Boys
- 2nd Sungka Girls
- Bocce – 2nd Boys/Girls – Single
- Bocce Team – 1st – CLARAA2019
(Coaches: All SPET Teachers)

 SPED pupils received educational materials (TRANSITION PROGRAM) from

US thru Mam Karen M. Valenzuela amounting to 20K.


NOVEMBER:

 Received 56 hearing aids /earmolds , 1,792 cells and 32 pcs of pouch from
STARKEY International Foundation in Pampanga last November 2019. (ALS
Baler /BCS) initiative of BCS SPED Teachers.
 Attended /Participated RFOT in Tarlac City last November 25, 2019
Pre-Voc and Therapeutic Art participated by 4 Sped pupils , 1 parent and 2
SPED teachers with Php 15,ooo.oo from solicitations and donations from LGU
and individuals for expenses on fuel/transpo & food allowances and materials
used on the said contest.

DECEMBER:
  Sped pupils received 66 packs of Spaghetti amounting toPhp3,300 served as their
gifts.
 Mrs. Nancy A. Novicio gave Php 2,000 served as her gift for the SPED pupils.
 2 SPET teachers gave gifts for SPED pupils amounting to Php1,600.
 Parents of SPEd shared food/snacks for the pupils on their Christmas Party.

JANUARY:

 BCS SPEd received Php 30K materials for TRANSITION Program of SPED
for Bake and Pastry, Laundry and Gardening from LGU Fund of Baler for
SPED.

MARCH:

 Sped pupils and parents attended Family Day.

 March 3 -6 , 2020 – AFTERCARE Activity of STARKEY
- 3 HI received 5 hearing aids amounting to 150K and
- Batteries amounting to 50K

II. TEACHERS’ DEVELOPMENT

 July , 2019
* Mirajoy A. Mamuntos and Elena F. Herminigildo gave a Schoolbased Seminar
for teachers in Grade 1 – Kinder/Receiving Teachers held at AV Mijares ES/
Reserva ES venues of the said

* SPED Teachers attended PWD month.

* SPED Teachers attended LAC Sessions on how to administered MFAT

materials, seminar on receiving teachers and other academic and non-academic
subjects.

*Elena F. Herminigildo attended seminar on ESP and in ICT last September and
October, 2019.

* 1SPET teacher served as Facilitator on LACSessions for BCS teachers last

February to March 2019.

* All SPET teachers attended LAC sessions every Friday .

III. CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

a. Constructed and administered testing tools in all subject areas.

b. Prepared at least 75% instructional materials in all subject areas.

c. Prepared IEP according to their disability/ies

d. Put- up reading corner

IV. PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

- Participated in all school activities ex. Brigada, ESP, Math etc.

- Having a year round cleaning or “Pagtatabas” BRIGADA PLUS of SPED

Parents/guardians during ATAG.

- Pupils planted vegetables, malunggay etc. within the SPED ground.

- Maintained cleanliness inside and outside the classroom.

- Purchased 4 LED bulbs for classroom use – donation-personal (Elena F.

Herminigildo)

- Put –up improvised lavatory inside the room . donation –personal (Elena F.
Herminigildo)

- SPED Parents participated in Landscaping for Kinder and SPED amounting to

Php 1,500.
- Repainting of SPED Hallway thru parents and teachers donation amounting to
Php5,000.
V. OTHERS

 Last September 19-20, 2019 Parents gave Php. 3,340 served as their donations
for STARKEYs visitors for the AFTERCARE activity for 21 pupils who are
recipients of the 1st batch of hearing aids given last December in Baguio City.

 Initiated to ask financial assistance from BCS Family amounting to Php 1,500
for Jake Tagupa an OH pupils of Mam Mirajoy A. Mamuntos.
