1. WHAT IS FundaesLiga Quiz League (FLQL)?

It is an 11-week competition featuring quizzers of all experience levels. Starting off in

July 2021, it is now India’s It is India's biggest open quizzing competition run for players
of all quizzical experiences, where you can answer questions from the safety of your
home.

In December 2021, FLQL was voted the world's favourite quiz competition at the first-
ever World Quiz Awards hosted by All Things Quiz.

2. Who should sign up?

Our main goal is to attract three kinds of players and we have designed it for them.

1) Individuals who are geographically bound (be it in tier 2/3 cities or abroad who can't enjoy
quizzing with their peers).

2) Individuals who can't enjoy answering questions on stage since they are just out of the
qualifying scores and have to sit in the audience in offline events. Through our easy-to-play
format, everyone can answer.

3) Most importantly, those who are curious to quiz/learn facts/expand horizons. This is a
stepping stone for them as the world opens up.

And of course, it all started since players couldn't congregate during the pandemic to quiz
offline. FLQL gave many players an avenue to just do something they love. Your opponents
here can be college students, housewives, retired people, award-winning authors, worldwide
famous sports journalists, doctors, businesswomen….and of course, if you're lucky, even the
world's best quizzers maybe your opponent one day. Perhaps, most importantly, it gives you a
chance to make new friends across neighborhoods, cities, states, countries and even
continents!

3) What is my commitment (time and financials)?

All you need is one hour in a week of Monday-Sunday. Every week, you will enjoy 64 well-
curated questions time of your convenience. The games take place on Zoom, and you will
face three others in a four-player match.

The league runs for 11 and you will always play against opponents who are of the same level
as you so you will never feel out of place. All of this in a foolproof setup. And just for 1350 INR
for the season.

4) I’m interested, how do I see what FLQL has been up to so far?

A big part of FLQL is our community, and we invite you to join us. Join our Facebook page
and group (hyperlinked at the bottom of the document) - this is where 1000 quizzers from
over 5 continents discuss all things quizzing from tournament build-up, leaderboards,
weekly analysis, discussions, sharing questions, playing friendlies with folks from these 5
continents, and clearing others' doubts.

Our automated format guarantees maximum fairness for ALL players every week .Our
YouTube Channel (hyperlinked at the end) carries featured games of the week from our three
full seasons of FundaesLiga and FLAMES. This will give you an idea of the competition.
