DESIGN
Arkouda is a fantastical place
characterized by a sprawling natural
landscape, ancient magic and desirable
objects from our own contemporary
world. From patches of forest floating in
the air to meadows filled with flowers of
seemingly impossible colors, from vast
open ranges flanked by giant canyons
to dense tropics filled with mysterious
artefacts, Arkouda is filled with wonders
at every turn.
The land is populated by four human-like
creatures, including the Bears.
At the centre of the map, separated from the
continents by a surrounding body of water
called The Whispering Sea, is an island with
a giant volcano. This is Mount Matakur. For
decades, this volcano has laid dormant. But
recently, it has started to erupt. The creatures
of Arkouda observe this phenomenon with

The Bears - Strong, brave,

the bears have had to

ability that is yet to be fully
understood. However, their chief
shaman suspects the ability of
time manipulation.

These are tools they build for the purpose
of furthering their knowledge of time
manipulation. Some can pause time.
Some can speed up time. Some
can slow down time. There is one
kind of watch that is currently in
development – one that allows
time to skip forward. Once all
four kinds are in action, it
has been said that a fifth
ability will be unlocked.
Rumor has it this is the
ability to travel back to
the past.
The watches are
categorized into 4
categories with each watch
giving their Bear the power to
manipulate time.

Characters can create new items such as watches, bags, cars,
and yachts by building it themselves. First they must find the
components, or “hunt” them.

The forest contains non-intelligent creatures that characters

can hunt:

Once a character has collected enough components, they can

go to Forging Stations to build an item (NFT). Depending on
the right combination and quality of component, a certain
kind of item is created. The more exotic and rare the compo-
nent, the more prestigious and powerful the item created will
be.
