Dear Cynthia Roddick,

I am María Pía Leonardi and I am writng to you because I saw the adevertisement of the
summer course and I am truly interested in applying.

I have been dreaming about going to this summer course since I was twelve years old
but I can´t afford it. Therefore, this is a huge opportinuty for me and I don´t want it slip
away. Besides, singing, dancing and acting are the things that I enjoy the most in the
world, so being able to learn more about what I love is something really exciting.

Furthermore, I am studying stage arts at the National College of Arts and I have taken
musical comedy, jazz, ballet and drama lessons. Moreover, I am always singing and
dancing by myself, consequently, I have learnt a lot of tecnique and I learn very fast.

At last, I go to College in the mornings so I am available on Mondays, Wednesdays and

Sundays after 3pm and on weekends.

When you are at school or college you will have a lot of assignments where you will
have to be patient and tolerant because you will be working in groups.

This can seem a little stressful at first but it could be the perfect opportunity to stablish
relationships with people that you may never talk if it wasn´t for the assignment.
Another reason for doing this is the fact that you won´t have to do all the job by your
own. In the same way, you will debate about the subject of the activity so there will be
different points of view.

Nevertheless, sometimes some members of the group won´t participate or colaborate

with the project. In this cases, you will have to make sure to put them to work or you
will ended up doing all the job yourself.

In conclution, although there are many arguments on both sides, I would rather do
individual projects because of the stress tha implies forcing people to work when they
don´t want to.
