Spring Quarter Notebooks Progress Report

PURPOSE OF REPORT

The purpose of this report is to check in with the progress I have made with the spring quarter
first year notebooks and to write the tasks that need to be completed and the ones that have
been completed. I started these notebooks on April 4th, 2022. This report was written on May
23, 2022.

Task list and established dates:

1. Write down 5 Basic Systems (5.B.S)
into scratch notebook. (June 4th)
2. Write down Fluid Line Conductors
(F.L.C) into scratch notebook. (June
4th)
3. Type out 5.B.S into word documents
and organize into sections. (June 7th)
4. Type out F.L.C into word documents
and organize into sections. (June 7th)
5. Put in PowerPoints for F.L.C into the
word sections. (April 18th)
6. Put in PowerPoints for 5.B.S into the
word sections. (April 18th)
7. Design AutoCAD drawings for 5.B.S
and insert them into the proper
word sections. (May 20th)
8. Create a hydraulic math section for
an independent section of
notebook. (June 3rd)
9. Insert self-took pictures for 5.B.S
into the word sections. (May 30th)
10. Insert self-took pictures for F.L.C

11. Insert extra texts and organize files

APRIL
• 5.B.S documents completed on April 24th.
• F.L.C documents completed on April 16th.
• Documents written out on scratch notebook have been scribed to formal fluid
power notebooks.
MAY
• 5.B.S was typed and cataloged into their specified fluid power sections on word.
• F.L.C was typed and cataloged into their specified fluid power sections on word.

JUNE
Nothing has yet to be completed for the month of June.

PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED
Inventor kept crashing disabling my abilities to form proper pictures for notebooks.
PowerPoint pictures for F.L.C pipe fittings would not let me copy and paste pictures into
word.

WORK REMAINING

MAY
• I need the rest of the notes for 5.B.S and F.L.C so I can complete the writing
section for my notebooks.
• Writing does need to be completed for 5.B.S and for F.L.C.

JUNE
• AutoCAD drawings need to be completed for 5.B.S.
• Inventor and AutoCAD diagrams need to be created for the notebooks content.

 • PowerPoints from Professor George need to be inserted into my notebooks.
• My notebooks need to be printed, organized, labeled, and laminated.

CONCLUSION:
Notebook needs to be created soon and the PowerPoints should already be inserted by
now.

RECOMMONDATIONS:

Spend at least 3 to 4 hours a day after work to create and finish the notebooks 2 weeks
before they are due which is at June 10th.
