2. Introduction

and paper quality, reduce manufacturing costs and the consumption of raw materials and energy. ABB’s pulp and
paper teams develop a range of market leading control systems products for the global pulp and paper industry. We
have a multidisciplinary team located in centers around the world cooperating on product development. At the heart of
ABB’s strategy is software-led differentiation and the Internet of Things, Service and People (IoTSP).

You will join a group of high-achieving engineers to lead and develop cutting edge industrial control applications for the
pulp and paper industry. Collaborating with teams in Singapore, Ireland, Sweden, Finland and USA, the breadth of
technologies and control strategies employed is broad. We are looking for someone who is technically very strong but
also with an interest in leading/managing local and remote teams. The successful candidate will have a desire to work
in a global, dynamic and challenging environment and will be highly rewarded from both a career and remuneration

3. Primary Responsibilities
 To provide broad technical software support, training, pilots and consulting services for clients and to carry out the
implementation of company software product in pulp and paper industry
 Digital project implementation in pulp and paper industry
 Analyze and gather customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions for pulp and paper projects
 Work with Project Managers to define scope, features and estimates for new projects.
 Plan project activities with local and remote teams.
 Work directly on development tasks; provide technical leadership; coordinate with other resources and create high
quality products within the defined schedules and budgets.
 Work with customers to define new opportunities for plant level applications.
 Should be proficient or have the capability of becoming proficient at installing, configuring, developing a work flow
process, troubleshooting the software, and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches.
 Plan and make technological training for customer key users or internal team.
 Clear & concise documentation
 Aside from project responsibility, the successful candidate will also provide strategic sales, training, and
customer/application support.
 Should have hands-on experience in building CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps
 Should have familiarity with PowerShell Scripts.
 Experience/familiarity with Windows Install Tools like InstallShield/WiX will be an added advantage.

4. Required Qualifications & Experience
 B.E / B.Tech / MCA with 60% and above
 Working with Pulp & paper industry applications & knowledge of any DCS/PLC/SCADA applications will be an
added advantage.
 Should have 5+ years of experience in windows application design and development using .NET framework,.Net
Core, C#, WPF & WCF (overall experience to be 8+).
 Experience of Relational database Oracle / SQL Server/ PostgreSQL, time series database.
 Deep knowledge of Object oriented programming, Design Principles and Design patterns.
 Should have excellent troubleshooting skills at module, product & system levels using any of the tools like
DebugDiag, WinDbg ( system internal tools ).
 Knowledge on Digital Signatures (binaries and Exe).
 Expertise in setup CI/CD pipeline from scratch in Azure DevOps/TFS
 Set the branch/merge strategy as required by the project
 Creation of build and version control of the same
 Creation of packages for a Release
 Deployment of the builds/packages in Cloud environment
 Integration of static code analysis, test frameworks as part of the pipeline
 Expertise in InstallShield for packaging.
