Responsible for mechanical and piping project & maintenance activities in Oil and Gas Company, Responsibility
includes planning and management of project; follow up with sub-contractors and bulk piping material control.
Preparation of activities schedule for site works and arranging for execution.

Work includes:

 Study of drawings, marking plan and fabrication interpretation with respect to job specification and codes.
 Fabrication and erection of main pipe rack and unit piping, Technological structure and structural supports
for equipment / machineries.
 Planning of Manpower and machineries to achieve targets on time.
 Coordination with Client /Sub contractor to solve site issues and to achieve targets.
 Adapted safety standards and achieved accident free work site.
 Preparation for all technical reports daily, weekly and monthly.
 Verified the subcontractor’s measurements for billing, completion of final dossier.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

o Receiving isometrics, support drawings and details.

o Responsible for the supervision of fabrication and installation of carbon steel and stainless steel pipes.
o Inspection of incoming materials as per quality, mill certificate, heat number, etc.
o Arrangement of spools in laydown yard as per standard.
o Check the installed piping components as per isometrics.

o Dimension checking of completed spools as per isometric drawing.

o Planning of work and scheduling.

o Make sure P&ID for correct revision.
o Prepare as built drawing and update documents.
o Materials to be replaced or repaired. Size, types, rating & materials as per the design specification.
o Conduct fit up &offer welding release inspection prior to full welding &ensures that only qualified welders
are attending the job in accordance with approved WPS.
o Hydro testing preparation, water filling, pressurizing and pre inspection prior to offer RFI to client.
o Reinstatement of all the lines system wise after hydro testing and pre-commissioning activity and
supervision of finished work prior of offer for final system walk down.
o Fabrication of temporary spools for chemical cleaning preparation.
o Familiar with ASME code of standards.
o Overseeing of safety management system at the work place.
o Assists the Construction Manager in supervising and monitoring of work execution at site.
o Responsible of contractors supply material as per construction documents.
o Ensure that all safety practices and procedures for safe working are fully implemented.

o Work permit management for safe working.
o Daily Manpower list update and weekly progress report will be submitted to the Manager.
o Identify punch list in all aspects of piping construction and clearing it at the earliest.

o Attending meeting with the subcontract companies and verifying progress report in piping Construction.
o Attending weekly management meeting with the project manager and submitting the progress report in
piping.

 Inspection of gaskets installation, Pipe supports, valves installation, flow orifice strainers and control valves
prior to line re-instatement as per the latest drawings.

 Day to day report to the Sr. Engineer and area in charge about the progress & problem on site work.
