Project Details:

DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF WHIRLING SPEED OF SHAFTS :

It is an experimental setup in dynamics laboratory. It is used to find the critical speed of the shafts.
It is also used to find the frequency of the vibrations.
Industrial visits :

 Industrial visit to SARADA Metals and Alloys LTD: January 2020 The visit to company provided
us an opportunity to see how power plants work ,the layout of plant, the disposal of exhaust,
various furnaces, coal storage place.
 Industrial Visit to Hobel Bellows & Co.: In August 2019 we visited to the company, it provided
us with an opportunity to see how metal bellows and EGR pipes are manufactured. We saw and
learnt the processes that went into manufacturing the bellow; making, bending and finishing of
pipes; their inspection, testing and finishing processes before marketing the final product.
