Identifying particular characteristics of a personal proposal

CONCEPTUAL APPROACH   AESTHETIC APPROACH   TEACHERS

 Throughout the work that we
will do next year, I want to work
with the original covers. To be
honest, I don't feel like I have the leveling the levels of each instrument
ability to produce an original
work right now, but I think in the
future I will. Going back to the
above, in terms of covers, I want
to work with all kinds of musical
genres in which, together with
my colleagues, I can play with
someone else's work to adapt it
and give it my own touch.
Speaking more specifically, I
want to focus on my voice and
improve it as much as I can to be
able to work on any challenge
that may come my way, on the
other hand, I also want to work
on some instrument, I still don't
know which one but I know I
want to do it.
Regarding aesthetics, I want to focus FOLLOW-UP 
on music that can generate emotions
in the public, I would achieve this by
depending on the mood that I want to
share (happy song, sad song,
emotional song, etc). In this case it’s
important to work on technical
concepts that have a big importance
on how the song will sound and the
effect it will have on the listeners
(reverb, delay, volume, instruments,
etc.). This is related to the other thing I
mentioned, since I don't want to focus
only on a genre like rock, but rather
have the possibility of working with
any challenge. As for what has to do
only with me, I want to be able to
leave my personal touch in each cover
or composition that I do in a clear and
forceful way.
 

BREAKING DOWN REFERENCES   

As I mentioned before, I would
like to be able to have more
freedom in choosing the genres,
artists and songs with which we
will work. It is in this way that
no matter what kind of music it
is, you can identify what work
the original artist probably
followed to make their song. the
musical, textual and general
elements are elementary pieces
that are integrated into the song
in a unique way and what I want
to do is identify each one of them
in order to work on my own
production.
The references that influenced
what we did this year and are
going to help us next year are
Maneskin, Radiohead, Rex
Orange Country, among others.
We worked on rock and Indie.
As specific references for next
year, I would like to work on Rex
Orange Country and Los Retros
in the Indie gender. In rock with
Soda Stereo and Queen. Bob
Marley and UB40 in Reggae. Not
only with these authors but I
want to work with the
techniques they propose as I like
their music.
     

TECHNICAL DEVICES REQUIRED  

The technical elements that I will need to elaborate everything that I am
proposing for next year come out of all the resources that the school has
to give me. I will work from the midi on the computers in the music room,
the instruments, recording studios and people who I know can help me in
this new process and challenge. Instruments such as piano or ukulele are
the ones that may complement my desire to have another role rather
than just my voice.
