- To develop speaking skills (talking about historical figures and events using specific vocabulary);
- To develop reading skills;
- To develop independent work skills;
- To raise historical and cultural awareness.

from a very early age.
8. Galileo Galilei is famous for claiming that the Earth moves round
the Sun. Also, he invented the telescope.
9. Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821) is famous for his military
campaigns meant to conquer many territories of the world in
order to build a French empire.
10. Queen Elizabeth I (1558-1603) is famous for her peaceful 45-year
reign of England.
