I. Objectives

At the end of the lesson 100% of the students should be able to attain
80% level of proficiency to:

1. Identify the parts and function of the excretory system.

2. Trace the pathway of urine in the excretory system.
3. Explain the importance of taking care the excretory organs.

II. Subject Matter

A. Topic : Excretory System

B. Concept: The excretory system is the system of an organism's body that
performs the function of excretion, the bodily process of discharging wastes.
This is responsible for the elimination of wastes produced by homeostasis.
There are four main organ that is involve in eliminating waste and these are
the Kidney, Ureter, Urinary Bladder and the Urethra.

regarding on our previous discussion

A. Motivation
Now there’s an activity. I will group you
into 2 groups. The students on the left side
will be the group one, and the students on
the right side will be the group two. Each
group must have one representative to
arrange the jumbled words that I been
given.

All those arrange words are the organs
that are involve in eliminating waste to our
body.
The process of eliminating waste
product is excretion.
So our lesson for today is all about the
Human Excretory System

The Human Excretory system compose of

four major parts and they are the Kidney,
Ureter, Urinary Bladder, and Urethra

The kidney filtered the waste products .

from the blood.

Next is the Ureters, they are tubes that

carry urine form the pelvis of the kidney to
the urinary bladder.

Urinary Bladder?

Urinary bladder is a sac-like structure that

found in pelvic cavity the main function of it
is to hold the urine or simply the storage of
the urine.
None ma’am.
And the last is the Urethra, is a tube-like
structure that carries urine out of the body.

Here is the excretory tract,

 Yes ma’am.

The urine filters into the kidney then down

to the ureters, and stored in the urinary
bladder and finally release in the urethra.

C. Application
For the next activity, you need to compose
a song that shows the importance of taking
care our excretory organ. The group 1 will
compose a song with the tune of jingle
bells, While the other group compose a
song with the tune of joy to the world.
