1.0 Introduction : Academic management is important to the education success of

college and organization.
Nowadays Academic management is often spread over several disciplines , including staff
details , student details of every year etc.
For many institutions facilities factor where provided to a high standard are perceived as
having an important influence on student’s choice of institution.
This is a web-oriented application allows us to access the whole about the college, staffs,
students, academics etc. here we will get the latest information about the student and staffs,
this generic application designed for assisting the students of an institute regarding the
information on the teacher details, student details for every year and student form.
From an outsider’s perspective, ”Academic management” seems self-explanatory. For
anyone pursuing a career as a academic manager, it can seem like an oversimplification for a
job growing more complex each year. To information about the student and staff details for
every year of the academic. To understand the title, the role, and everything that comes with
them “Academic management is a profession that encompasses multiple disciplines to ensure
functionality, comfort, safety and efficiency of the build environment by integrating people,
place, process and technology.”
Academic management is a branch of university or college employees responsible for the
maintained and supervision of the institution and separate from the faculty or academics,
although some personnel may have joint responsibilities. Some type of separate
administrative structure exists at almost all academic institutions. Fewer institutions are
governed by employees who are also involved in academic or scholarly work . Many senior
administrators are academics who have advanced degrees and no longer teach or conduct
research.

1.1 Aim : Aim is to create academic management project that will helpful to all and it
includes all the information regarding staff and students of every year.

3.0 System Design

3.1 Existing system: In the current system we need to keep a number of records related to
the student and want to enter the details of the student and the marks manually. In this system
only teacher or the school authority views the marks of the student and they want to enter the
details of the student. This is time consuming and has much cost. As the existing system is
not maintained and the domain has been blocked there is a need for a new one. All the details
are maintained in a single record. So searching and upgrading the details is a tedious task
Also there is a chance of errors.

3.2 Proposed system: Initially the college authorities had the feeling of maintaining a
comprehensive website for information exchange apart from existing one(static). We used all
the possible ways to monitor the data and maintain and maintain and format the data
requested by the authority. Also to formulated the text to embed into world wide web. The
data is about to change all the time so we will update it all the time possible.
By developing the system we can attain the following features:

6.0 Module description :

 Student Form: Student form module consists of details of every students of each
year of MCA department of Tumkur University. This module contains details of each
student like student name, student DOB, last year passed degree, phone number of a
student, student e-mail, category of a student and so on.

 Student Details: Student details module contains the information of a student of a

particular year like starting from 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 and so on and also it
consists of the category of a student that are present in a particular classroom so that it
can be easily understood.

 Staff Details: This module contains the information of every staff members of
MCA department of Tumkur University. This module has all the details of faculty like
their name, qualification, staff ID, phone number, subject, achieves etc. Everyone can
view the details of every faculty whenever required.

7.0 Future Enhancement:

The project has a very vast scope in the future. The project can be implemented on intranet in
the future. Project can be updated in future as student changes yearly. As this project is very
flexible in terms of expansion. project can be updated in future as and when requirement for
the same arises, as it is very flexible in terms of database space manager ready and fully
functional the client is now able to manage and hence run the entair work in a much better,
accurate and error free manner.
