Thank you for registering for IELTS test through British Council Lahore. Please find below your Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking test details:
Please note that hard copy venue letter will not be sent on your mailing address and venue details are only being sent through SMS and email. You are
requested to bring along your ORIGINAL & VALID Identification Document (ID) as mentioned in your IELTS application. You are also required to bring a photocopy of the
same ID for your speaking test.
Important notice: · You are requested to bring your own sta onery which includes Pens (blue & black ink only), pencils, eraser and
sharpener in transparent sta onery cases only. No sta onery will be provided by the centre.
Important notice for If you have paid IELTS fee online, please bring your credit/debit card to the venue on exam day for verification of
Online Payment: payment. If you have paid using third party credit card please bring the filled Authorisation form. Failure to provide the
required documentation may result in your not being allowed to sit the test or your right to receive your test result form.
Regulations You Must bring the original ID document the number of which you have mentioned on your application form.
Candidate without original and valid ID document will not be allowed to sit for any IELTS module. The details on this
venue letter must be checked and any errors should be reported to British Council as soon as possible.
The document must be valid/not expired on test day. You will be marked absent in case you do not bring original ID which you
have men oned on your applica on form with no fee refund or test date transfer.
Please do not force test day staff in case you don’t bring ID men oned on your applica on form to allow you to sit for test,
with no fee refund or test date transfer.
Candidate who arrives late (a er 1245 hrs.) will not be allowed to sit for the exam and also not eligible for refund or test date
transfer

Disallowed items within the examinations hall (if found, will be confiscated and returned two weeks after the end of the
test).
British Council is not responsible for the loss of candidates’ belongings/valuables and mobile phone.

Photographs As a part of our on-going commitment to test security, all photographs for the use on Test Report Form and candidate
records will be captured on your first interaction with us i.e. either the speaking test or the written test. IELTS will also
require candidates to provide finger scan and refusal to comply with IELTS identity verification will prevent candidates
from taking the test and they will not be eligible for any transfer, cancellation or refund.
Candidates’ digital photographs constitute data and this data will be used only for the purpose of the IELTS test and will
be treated as highly confidential in accordance with Pakistan, British Council UK and international data protection law
Parking policy/waiting We have no designated parking facility but public car parks nearby. We will not provide any parking facility to any of the
area candidates at exam venues. Parents are not allowed to stay at exams venues including any waiting areas. Parents must
follow a pick-up and drop-off policy.

SMS service: To further enhance our service to customers, we are launching an SMS service for all IELTS candidates who have registered with British
Council. Via SMS, British Council will disseminate test results and provide IELTS related information as applicable. Please be advised that any results
sent via SMS are provisional and may not be used as official confirmation. Instead, the Test Result Report should be relied on for final accuracy of
results. This service is available after 1200 hours on 13th day after IELTS test date. British Council will disseminate test results and provide IELTS
related information as applicable. Your test centre will use the information that you have provided to send IELTS based information only. Candidates
shall not hold the British Council responsible if a test result via SMS is not received, whether due to a technical fault, or due to the loss or theft of
mobile phone or any other circumstances. We hope you appreciate this service. If you do not wish to subscribe to this service, please inform us in
writing by sending an email to info@britishcouncil.org.pk. To receive your IELTS result via SMS Text IELTS<space>Result to 3040 on result release
date mentioned above (charges apply (Rs 3 plus tax per SMS).

Issuance of Results: Test Report Form will be dispatched on 13th day after the test date. You can view your results online from Ielts.britishcouncil.org
at around 3:00 p.m. Results will not be available online/despatched in case of technical errors/unavoidable circumstances, public holiday or internal
quality control checks.
