IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• This game may not run on all software/hardware configurations.
• You must have administrator privileges to install this game.
• This game will not run unless the correct version of DirectX is installed.
Please use the included installer to ensure that your version is correct.

STARTING THE GAME

Start the game by double-clicking the shortcut on your desktop,
or by selecting “Full Metal Daemon Muramasa" from the Start Menu.

UNINSTALLING THE GAME

To uninstall, use the Programs and Features menu located in the Control Panel, or select
“Uninstall Full Metal Daemon Muramasa” from the Start menu and follow the instructions.
• Deleting the game by any other means may result in an incomplete uninstallation.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
If the game does not run, or exhibits poor performance:
• See also “Troubleshooting” below.

Ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements listed above.
Some antivirus software may interfere with the installation or running of the game.
If you experience difficulties, temporarily deactivate your antivirus software

• The makers of this game take no responsibility for issues caused by disabling

Ensure that the correct version of DirectX is properly installed.

The installer will automatically attempt to install DirectX 11.
If the installation does not complete properly, you may need to install DirectX 11.0c manually.

Ensure that your graphics card and chipset drivers are up to date.

DELETING YOUR SAVE DATA

Save data is not deleted when uninstalling the game. To delete your save data,
navigate to %username%\appdata\roaming\nitroplus and
delete the “muramasa” folder.

Skip Unread Text - Unless enabled, the skip function will skip only previously read text.
Change Color of Read Text - When enabled, previously read text will appear gray.
Skip Voice Playback on Click - When enabled, advancing the text will end voice playback.
Cancel Autoplay on Click - When enabled, clicking will cancel auto mode.
Cancel Autoplay/Skip at Choice Point - When disabled, auto and skip modes will persist through choices.
Autoplay Speed - Adjust autoplay speed.
Wait for Voice During Autoplay - When enabled, autoplay will not advance to the next line until the

STORY

Since time immemorial, warriors called musha have ruled the battlefield, granted supernatural power by their
enchanted suits of armor - tsurugi.

Minato Kageaki is one such musha, driven by duty to don his crimson armor and challenge the greatest evils
of an age. But though madmen and tyrants fall to his blade, never will he claim that his battle is right.

For the tsurugi he wields is cursed Muramasa, which five centuries ago brought ruin to the land, and innocent
blood is the price it demands in exchange for its terrible might.

"Where there are demons, I slay them. Where there are saints, I slay them."

These words are an oath, the unbreakable Law binding him to his armor. But they also tell the story of his past,
and of the future to come.

Kageaki's tsurugi, an ancient suit of armor imbued with

When not in battle, it takes the form of a giant crimson spider.

A girl whose dedication to justice straddles the

bounds of sanity. Though the worst of Yamato’s villains
are beyond her power, she nevertheless strives to fight
what evils she can. Her first encounter with Kageaki leaves
her decidedly unimpressed.

OTORI KANAE

“Kageaki, dear. Do you enjoy killing ? ”

A beautiful enigma, a noble of Yamato who wears the uniform

of her nation's foe. After an assignment to a remote village
entangles her in Kageaki's quest, she dogs the man's footsteps
at every turn. Yet something dark lies beneath her mask
of clinging affection.

Kanae’s longtime servant. Though she is utterly loyal,

One of the four generals who lead Rokuhara, second only

to the shogun. Though her youth and puppylike exuberance
lead some to underestimate her, one must never forget that
she claimed her seat after murdering its previous
occupant, her father.

“My f riend needs help. I can't abandon her.”

A young man whose small stature belies the fierceness

of his spirit. Orphaned at an early age, he was taken in and
raised by Konatsu’s parents. He would do anything
for his friends, and meets Kageaki while searching for
his missing classmate Ritsu.

Yuhi’s oldest friend. They've been together for as long

as either can remember. She has taken it upon herself to
keep Yuhi and Tadayasu in line, usually with her fists.
Has a crush on her homeroom teacher.

Yuhi’s partner in crime. Though a good student

from a wealthy family, those who know him would say

plans to make that dream come true.

The fourth member of Yuhi’s group, a joyful prankster

Kamakura’s chief of police. He serves as an advisor

in my book, whether they're good guys... or bad.”

An associate of the Nogiyama crime family, which serves

Rokuhara’s interests in Kamakura. Like the cane-sword
he carries, his humble manner conceals a deadly intent.

The game crashes or freezes during startup:

• If your hard disk is nearly full, Windows may become unstable.

Ensure that you have sufficient hard disk space.
• Beta drivers and/or unsupported OS versions may cause the game to crash or freeze.
• Ensure that all hardware is connected properly and that other applications are functioning as intended.
• This game was tested on factory standard system configurations. Nonstandard configurations
and/or nonofficial software may cause problems. Please check your installed hardware and software
for possible problems or conflicts.
• Review your system settings and consult Windows support for system assistance.

The game runs poorly:

• Other applications may be draining system resources. Shut down other applications before playing.
• Check the system tray for software that may be draining system resources.

There’s no sound:

• Ensure that your speakers are on and that the volume is turned up.
Also check the Windows volume control to ensure that sound is on.
• Check the in-game volume settings via the config menu.

USER AGREEMENT

This End User License Agreement (“License”) is an agreement between you and JAST USA., its subsidiaries and affiliates
(“JAST USA”). This License governs your use of this software product and all related documentation, and updates and upgrades that
replace or supplement the software in any respect and which are not distributed with a separate license (collectively, the
“Software”). This Software is licensed to you, not sold. IF YOU INSTALL the Software, the terms and conditions of this License are fully
accepted by you. If you do not agree to the terms of this License, then do not install or use the Software. By installing or using the
Software, you agree to the terms of this License and agree to be bound by it.

Limited License and Terms of Use:

You are acquiring a personal, limited, non-exclusive license to install and use the Software for your non-commercial use. Any
commercial use is prohibited. You are expressly prohibited from sub-licensing, renting, leasing or otherwise distributing the Software.
The term of your License shall commence on the date that you install or otherwise use the Software, and shall end on the date that
you dispose of or transfer the Software; or JAST USAʼs termination of this License.
Further Restrictions:
Your right to use the Software is limited to the license grant above. Unless expressly authorized by JAST USA, you are prohibited
from making a copy of the Software available on a network where it could be used or downloaded by multiple users. You may not
remove or alter any trademarks, logos, or legal notices included in the Software or related assets. JAST USA reserves all right, title
and interest in the Software (including all characters, storyline, images, photographs, animations, video, music, text), and all
associated copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights therein. Except to the extent permitted under applicable
law, you may not decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Software, or any component thereof, by any means whatsoever.
Transfer:
You may make a one-time permanent transfer of all your rights to install and use the Software to another individual or legal entity
provided that: (a) the Technical Protection Measures used by the Software supports such transfers; (b) you also transfer this License
and all copies of the Software; (c) you retain no copies of the Software, upgrades, updates or prior versions; and (d) the receiving
party accepts the terms and conditions of this License.
Termination:
This License is effective until terminated. Your rights under this License will terminate immediately and automatically without any
notice from JAST USA if you fail to comply with any of the terms and conditions of this License. Promptly upon termination, you
must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies of the Software in your possession or control. Termination will not limit any
of JAST USAʼs other rights or remedies at law or in equity. Sections 4 - 9 of this License shall survive termination or expiration of this
License for any reason.
Limited Warranty on Recording Media:
The LIMITED WARRANTY ON RECORDING MEDIA THAT ACCOMPANIES YOUR SOFTWARE IS FOUND IN THE PRODUCT MANUAL
THAT WAS DISTRIBUTED WITH YOUR SOFTWARE AND IS INCORPORATED HEREIN BY REFERENCE. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES
YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS UNDER APPLICABLE LOCAL LAW, WHICH VARY FROM
JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.

authorization. You certify that you are not a person with whom JAST USA is prohibited from transacting business

Entire Agreement:
This License constitutes the entire agreement between you and JAST USA with respect to the Software and supersedes all prior or
contemporaneous understandings regarding such subject matter. No amendment to or modification of this License will be binding
unless made in writing and signed by JAST USA. No failure to exercise, and no delay in exercising, on the part of either party, any
