1) Particel of mass 𝑚1 = 5, 𝑚2 = 7, and 𝑚3 = 9 kilograms are located at the


𝑥1 = 2, 𝑥2 = −2, and 𝑥3 = 1 respectively, along the x-axis. Find the center of mass!

by the following: 𝑚1 = 2, (1,1) ; 𝑚2 = 3, (7,1) ; 𝑚3 = 4, (−2, −5) ; 𝑚4 =
6, (−1,0) ; 𝑚5 = 2, (4,6). Find the moments of this system with respect to the
coordinate axes, and find the coordinates of the center of mass!
