Abstract
This study aimed to find out the reality of occupational safety and
regulatory environment and their relationship with workers job performance,
and by using the descriptive approach, and the application of the
occupational safety procedures questionnaire prepared by Sakar Elmaghni
Amima (2006), andthe organizational climate measure prepared by Ayman
Soulimane Silem Abou Souirah and Youcef Abd Attia Bahr (2009), and the
functional performance questionnaire prepared by Derrouazi Karim (2011)
on a sample composed of 42 workers from the food production units in
the district of Bordj Bou Arreridj, the results showed the following:
- The presence of statistically significant relationship between occupational
safetyprocedures at work, and job performance of workers.
- The presence of statistically significant relationship between organizational
climate at work, and job performance of workers.
- The presence of statistically significant relationship between occupational
safety procedures and the organizational climate at work, and job performance
of workers.
The results were interpreted in light of the out come of the psychological
héritage and previous studies on the subject, andthe study was finally culminated
in a set of recommendations and proposals.
