Greetings on behalf of Gujarat National Law University!

The GNLU Faculty Members and I take great pride in introducing to the legal fraternity the GNLU Batch of
2019. We present to you motivated, vibrantly individualistic yet highly sculpted professionals who aspire to be
value creators and catalysts of change.
Since its inception, GNLU has strived to inculcate in its students commercial awareness and a sense of
professionalism combined with resilience and humility. The dynamic sphere of law has evidenced the need
for individuals who possess the capability to not only tackle challenges but also know how to gracefully move
forward with the times and the Batch of 2019 is an embodiment of these qualities.
The students of our Institution and this Batch in particular, while scaling the heights of academic excellence,
are not confined solely to academics, and have brought glory to the University by participating in and winning
the most prestigious moot court, debate, negotiation and essay writing competitions. The students have
contributed to the gamut of legal literature through publications in several International as well as National
journals of academic repute. They have excelled at the performing arts as well as on the sports field.
Above all, the industry experience that the students have gained through their internships at law firms,
corporate houses and courts have allowed them to be unparalleled in their capacity to contribute to the legal
arena. We highly value our relations with recruiters and remain committed to making your recruitment
experience productive and positive. With these words, I on behalf of the GNLU family, extend my warmest
greetings and welcome all our prospective recruiters.
With best wishes,
Prof. Dr. Bimal N. Patel

From the Desk of the Dean

Greetings from Gujarat National Law University!

Since its inception, Gujarat National Law University has striven to provide a conducive and nurturing
environment for its students to adapt to the dynamic nature of the legal industry. In order to ensure this, we at
GNLU, have worked to gain “knowledge from all directions” through personal and professional
development.
GNLU is one of the best law schools in the country and the students have proven their mettle in various areas.
The academic curriculum followed is wide ranging and inclusive of subjects like Law and Economics,
Mergers and Acquisitions, Socio Economic Offences, Media Law, Energy Laws, Law, Religion, Spirituality
and Justice, Maritime Law, Sports Law, etc. apart from following a research methodology based learning that
urges students to develop their analytical skills and practical application of law. The students also have an edge
and a deeper understanding of the subjects by means of University facilitated internships at NGOs, Judiciary,
Government Departments and offices, prestigious law firms and various other organizations.
The students of the batch of 2019 are a perfect blend of sincerity, dedication, maturity, intellect/knowledge
and professionalism. Having interacted and mentored them personally, I believe that these students possess
all qualities to set benchmarks in the legal fraternity. I wish the batch of 2019 all the very best in their future
endeavors.
I invite you to explore the GNLU website to get additional information about our faculty, programmes,
curriculum requirements and students’ achievements.
With Best Wishes,
Dr. Ravindra Kumar Singh
