b. Justification of the Project:
- As the community has a lot of Schools and Universities in the premises, there is a lot
of foot traffic that accumulates a lot of plastic wastes. This project focuses on cleaning
the roads and especially the school as it easily accumulates plastic and food waste.
Each area in our barangay has a leader that collects the wastes that is gathered
through their area. This project would be accomplished with the help of the Students,
The Youth, Barangay SK members, Team leaders, and some volunteers helping each
other for the same goal.
- This project will be conducted at Speaker Eugenio Perez National Agricultural School
and Pangasinan State University.
Methodology:
The primary method of action of this project proposal is to teach how proper waste disposal
works to the members of the society. This project will first survey the community’s problems
regarding waste disposal and garbage management and would try to look for possible
solutions to the problem. Aside from cleaning and waste management, the project would also
produce some products (e.g. plant pots, Christmas lanterns, bags) that were made from
recycled materials.
