Section 1:

The term "business" refers to an organized endeavor by an individual or group


of individuals to earn a living. It encompasses all operations involving the
production or purchase of commodities or the provision of certain services with
the goal of profitably selling them. Businesses are required to offer society with
high-quality goods and services.
Vision of a good business: A vision is a wide mental image of what an
organisation would like to ultimately achieve. It gives purpose to the existence
of the business. The vision statement captures,in writing, the essence of where
you want to take the business in future and inspires the employees to reach the
goal. For example
 IKEA: To create a better everyday life for the many people
 Microsoft: Empower every person and every organization on the planet to
achieve more
 Avon: To be the company that best understands and satisfies the product,
service and self-fulfillment needs of women—globally

Mission of a business: A mission statement is an action based statement


declaring the purpose of an organisation and how they serve their customers. It
provides perfect clarity behind the 'what', the 'who' and the 'why' of the
company. They work as guidelines by which a company operates. For example
 Patagonia: Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to
inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis
 Invisible Children: To end violence and exploitation facing our world’s most
isolated and vulnerable communities
 Honest Tea: To create and promote great-tasting, healthy, organic beverages

Core values of a business: The core values of any business are what makes it a
compact organisation working towards a certain goal. The basic values are
integrity, honesty, trustworthiness, accountability, commitment to customers,
leadership, creativity and teamwork.
Organisational structure:
An organisational structure outlines how certain activities are directed to
achieve the goals of the business. A successful structure defines each
employee's job and how it fits within the overall system. A centralised structure
has a defined chain of commands while decentralised structure gives almost
every employee receiving a high level of personal agency. Different types of
organisation structures include- Functional, Divisional, Flatarchy, and Matrix
structures.
Key products of a business:
Business products are those products which assist in the production process.
The key products of ant business are- Major equipment, accessory equipment,
raw materials, component parts, processed material, supplies and business
services.
From the above discussion, we easily come to know about the basics of a
business and it's working for a stable economy.
Section 2:
Established in 1996, Honda Vietnam is a joint venture between Honda Motor
Company (Japan), Asian Honda Motor (Thailand) and Vietnam Machinery and
Agriculture Corporation with 2 industries. Main products: computers and
automobiles. After more than 20 years of presence in Vietnam, Honda Vietnam
is constantly developing and becoming one of the leading companies in the field
of motorcycle manufacturing and a prestigious automobile manufacturer in the
Vietnamese market. After the field trip to experience the environment as well as
the workplace of employees at honda company, I have oriented myself in a
direction to become a marketing officer of the company. This is very suitable
for the marketing major that I am studying.
Marketing Responsibilities and Duties:
As a marketing office worker, we must be responsible and understand the nature
of our work. Here are some professional jobs that a marketing staff will have to
do to fulfill their duties and responsibilities at Honda Vietnam company.
 Evaluate the presentation of ideas and invest in communication channels
to propose suitable programs/content for the product to be introduced.
 Develop detailed product promotion plans and provide marketing
materials (such as photos, Main product portfolio, TV clips, website,
sales aids, etc.) (POSM), etc.) to take advantage of promotional activities
and provide information resources for creative departments
 Provide all marketing materials to support agents and advise agents on
appropriate use in marketing activities
 Develop and report new product launch communication plans (SP1/SP2),
marketing channels/communication strategies/Performance Indicators
(KPI) and closely monitor the results
 Develop communication plans for new products (public relations
(PR)/online/outdoor advertising) and evaluate the marketing effectiveness
of these campaigns
 Support to launch product launch events, test drive events, and online
activities (if any)
 Issue press releases to announce product promotion events
 Ensure adequate advertising materials at agents to serve well for new
product sales

Marketing qualifications and skills:


To complete the job well as an office worker, we need to equip ourselves with
skills and have good qualifications suitable for the job. The following are the
