Input ftom a standard Dynisco $50 ohm strain gage pressure transducer can be eeslly ranged and calbrated through the tront keyboard. The control acon is ul PID wih a user choice of 20/420 ‘Aor 0-10 VDC 12 bit (0.09% F.S.V) resolution output. A dual slope AD conversion of ls than 4100 mS enables the wC86O to respond to today’s rapid processes. Dual 4 digh alphanumeric splays aid in user setup and operation. Also standard are tuly programmable cual alarms, bbumpless autormanval transfer, seven sogment LED deplays and 0-2 VOC auxiliary oulpul Cptiona features inctude a third alarm and serial communications terface via RS232C, AS422, or S85. Please review this manual carefully prior to installation and operation. SPECIFICATIONS. GENERAL ‘Casa: ABS black ‘Displays: Upper cispay four 12.7mm high 7 segment LED's trom -1899 to +9999. The smaller the number, the tighter the contol and grater the response at the controller oc ‘certain enor. However, selecting a value that is to small ends to make the process unstable {eyetng) whe too large a value results ina loose response Integral Response « aids the controler in retuming the process to setpoint. This response is only concemed wih the amount of error that exists between the actual pressure and setpoln, and ow log (imo) the err has existed. The itegral response any functone when an eror exist, Reducing the value of the integral setting (i) increases the amount of inlegral response. A ‘numerical setting that sto large (40) results In process which wil nat return setpoint, while & value which is oo smal (0.1) wil resut in an unstable process. Derivative Response - aids the contol in responding to fast changes in the process. This response is concerned only withthe rate of ertor taking place. The more quickly the adtual pressure begins varying from setpoint, the more quicky this function fores the controller to respond. Note that dorvative only functions when the eror is changing and wil not corect for large errors which are stable. Increasing the numerical value of To inereaces the amount of
